Re: Ford Focus C-max

1.6 petrol,,,
If cover is off the top of the engine,, pull one of the plug leads out, see if its full of water, core plugs fail.
Sure sign rusty as **** inside.
Nothing else really,,, seals around tailgate,,,
Can not fit a child car seat in the front,,
Apart from usual servicing costs, nothing to say,,, on par with renault for price..
Most main agents, the parts are cheaper than from a motor factor.
Diesel,, with the dpf, container under the back of the car,, on drivers side for the eolys .
This spurts the fluid in to the tank, each time the fuel cap is closed/opened.
Make sure it has fluid in....
Oh,,, will throw this one in,,, if the battery goes flat,,, dont try to jump start it.
It fubar's the ecu ..

These can easily be diagnosed with an elm, and software is freely available for these..
All legal to use......

Re: Ford Focus C-max

Wife had one and issues with the DMF...done twice under warranty also check the Front lower suspension arm bushes as they tend to go ...only had it 3years and no real issues ...

It is easier to take it apart than to put it back together
