The Renault is a pig.
My sympathies FC it's no consolation when you hear of others who have had a trouble free life with their cars and you have a bad Un irrespectve of the make.

My 05 Scenic II had a few faults that Renault could not resolve to my satisfaction, My 07 Scenic II apart from a few niggles at delivery has been a good Un so far anyway

Hi FC, sorry to hear you feel that way, and I don't blame you in the slightest. Some you win and some you loose

There may well be some very happy owners of Trekka's out there that have not had a single problem.......part of buying a car, every one is different even if only in a slight way....just that a slight way could cost a lot of money

Just to add re your post though, most motoring forums will be exactly the same....people generally locate/visit them to gain advice/help regarding a problem (hence the reams of faults etc)....indeed that is exactly how I found this forum.

Generally people wouldn't locate a forum such as this to praise their cars.

Here's hoping whatever you go for next isn't such a 'pig'

Currently in scatz's garage:
2004 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B, a 2013 2.0 TDCi Titanium X Sport S-Max and a 2001 Honda NSR125R

I have a great Renault!, 1999 Laguna now with 115000 miles on the clock and its never missed a beat. Its the best car Ive ever owned and I will buy another when the time is right. when you buy a car you need to check it over with a fine tooth comb and use your common sense, other wise you are likely to end up with a bag of nails.
Currently in carl66's garage:
Renault Scenic & Daihatsu Grand Move & vespa Douglas 1981
