There is of course drawbacks.
Take this:-
1968 Rover P6 2000SC 48K Miles From New LOOK | eBay

Sounds a bargain but 90BHP ?
In a heavy car?
My Scenic could outrun it

boots bigger in the Scenic too !


the P6 boot space was a joke even in the 60's
that's why the A110 1800/2200 & even the Maxi sold so well.


pity the 6 cyl Marina was an export only model .

the one to have was the v8 not the 2lt
