A relative had one of these and I can assure you its puts a grin on your face

It is easier to take it apart than to put it back together

Always amazed me that the same company that could turn them out, also made three wheelers that definitely didn't make you smile.
One of the worst experiences of my life was passenger in one of them.
I dislocated a finger and the hotel I was working at used a Reliant Van as a run-about.... offered to run me up to the local hospital.
Fine except it had snowed and frozen.
We went the short route, via backroads.
Complete with frozen hump in the middle that the lad driving was trying to balance the front wheel on.....
I got a taxi back to collect my car.

Re: Older is better :-)

When I was younger (teen) I always fancied a Gilbern Invader.
The girl I fancied in school , her father had one
Very popular car back in the day, suppose being made in Wales so near to us & parts so readily available made them so.

Probably still easier to get parts for them now than a 70's Datsun.
