Service intervals

When I had a 2004 Laguna 11, a forum member stated that the oil change should be every 10,000 miles and not 18,000 as stated by Renault. He also said the cam belt should be changed every 40,000 miles and not 45,000 miles as stated by Renault. It is good advice which I have followed. I now have a 2009 Laguna 111 and would like to follow the same theme, so can anyone recommend the service intervals for the above please.

Didn't know that the Lag3 came with a 1.5 but live and learn.

Don't forget that timing belt intervals are calculated two ways and use whichever comes first.

Was always 70K OR 5 years but Renault seem to be stretching the time to 6 years now and I've seen some sites say up to 9 years.

However, as you have a 6 year old Lag, if belt not been changed, I would say time to do it.

Drove a 1.5dci before I opted for 2.0dci the 1.5 wasnt as sluggish as I expected ...I have found some fast fit places will do an oil filter change using good oil for about £50 so I do mine every 6months
