Red face Phase II Espace Dilemma

Hi Guys I have a renault phase II espace, I superb vehicle in fact the best I have ever owned, purchased many moons ago with 98k on the clock and full service history, a very reliable vehicle that I changed the oil and filter every 5k, and repaired and replaced parts brakes, tyres, balljoints, clutch cable (I can change one in 15mins) etc all the way up to about 189k, at that point a lot of stuff needed sorting, it needed another clutch, cambelt and the steering rack was leaking, after careful consideration I decided that that this was the perfect vehicle for me and my family and that I knew it inside out, and that there was no other car to touch it, and decided I could easily get another 100k out of her so I had the rack, clutch done again, breaks ball joints etc, all in all a good job like a new car again, then at 209k in 2009 disaster struck, an old lady in her 70's 7 sheets to the wind came down our street and smashed into ten cars including ours she had smashed the drivers door and rear off side door even though the panels had sprung back they were badly holed and the rear arch was damaged, luckily the sills and chassis were undamaged, long story short, the insurance wrote the car off because of its age, but I got the car back to get it back on the road, i stored it and worked on it at a local farm, I managed to find some doors near birmingham but were blue mettalic not gunmetal grey, anyway I purchased all four and fitted them and changed all the electric window motors as the plugs were different on the newer blue doors, I repaired the wheel arch you cannot tell it was ever damaged "polyester panels are great" anyway at this point I had to move the car and parked it in a garage at my mothers, and tried and failed with a paint job, made a right mess, paint not sticking and the laquer on the good parts had started lifting, in the meantime life had to go on I bought a seat alhambra originally as a stop gap, then I had to work long hours at work and did less and less on the Espace
to the point where it wouldn't even start anymore, since then I got rid of the Seat got a Grand Scenic just sold that and am currently driving a Galaxy. The Espace is now stored under cover, covered in dust (certainly not like the picture) but it will take some bringing back I am under pressure from the family to get it out of the garage, I dont want to scrap it, but do I spend a small fortune recommisioning it along with the cost of a full respray, or do I give it away to a Espace enthusiast who will bring it back to life as a brilliant classic that it should be, or they could use it for parts as they are getting scarce now. what I will do this week is get a new Battery and fresh fuel and see if I can get her to fire the meantime guys please help me make the right decision any advice would be greatfully received.....

Flaming 'ell, take a breath will ya?
Not trying to be offensive but paragraphs really help when reading long narratives.

To spend money on a hi mileage motor or not?

Personal choice but for the couple of grand potential cost of a respray, you can find another, lower mileage Espace.
