Personally I'd have tried moving it first without my car. If I couldn't and was blocked in imo I would probably do the same as I would be well wound up.

I see you points and as Otto said, you are fully entitled to them. hoever I also agree with the saying, it was said a few posts ago, that you shouldn't tarnish everyone with the same brush.

that link that is in the post above is a very good read. I am not a biker but can relate to it.

Anyway, back on topic, ha.

In her defence is my post above. I could agree if that was the situation as i certainly wouldn't like to be hanging around for them to come back.

Then again, thinking about it further, I suppose she could have gone into tesco's and got them to make an announcement for the rider to move it, then have a dam good go at him. Especially if people are around as it will show him/her right up, ha.

VED is a clear tax, you know exactly how much it is costing you. There is already tax in addition to VAT on fuel, but how many of us really know how much tax we are paying at the pumps? Moving the tax to the pumps will simply hide the tax. Before you know it, Mr average 10k per year in his Mundano will be paying 500+ per year extra at the pumps without even realising it, whereas if they darerd to put his VED up to 500 there would be an outcry.
That is a good point as the government would probably blame the hike on the Oil Companies instead to hide it.

I would love to sign the petition but it won't send me the email it's supposed to after you have entered your details & clicked the Sign button.....I have tried for a few days now & it's just not sending it.
It's not going into my junk mail or anything silly like that either as I have checked.

A good way to keep the number of people signing the petition down I think !
