That maybe slightly extreme,but a nice idea..

My 'classic' (and I use the term very loosely) is insured on a limited mileage policy (3k incidently),fully comp for 140 a year.I am getting on a bit though(over 30).

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....

Ah, classic car insurance...I've heard of people who are 18 years old getting insured but most companies I've seen its minimum 21.

Although, it's a pipe dream - even my Dad can't justify spending on a project car!

Torque isn't just about feeling the shove, its also about rolling along at 35mph in 4th and building revs as you approach dual carriageway, flooring it all the way to 80mph before you have to change gear, with the revs not going above 3k
