Super Renault

Hi, just thought I'd let you all know about a Super Renault I test drove last year.
It was fitted with the latest Sat-Nav with real-time congestion avoidance. The Hi-Fi produced over 800Watts RMS of power. It had a PS2 with multiple screens. DVD recorder. Satellite TV. Fully trimmed in leather.
It had a turbo diesel common-rail intercooled 6 cylinder engine, produced over 400BHP and over 1200 NM of torque! It had a 10 speed tip-tronic style gearbox with a triple-plate carbon ceramic clutch. The disc brakes are 18' in diameter with 8-piston water-cooled calipers! It runs on 22.5 inch alloys!
It has a multiple zone climate control system.
At it's best, it would only do 14MPG. It had full air suspension with raise & lower facility. It had all the latest brake features as a modern car has.
It cost over 325,000 to buy! And it's got a fully fitted galley and seats 30 people!
Yes you've guessed it, it's a coach!!
I thought you'd guess it from my call name. It was a joy to drive, only does 62MPH(limited), but it will go to 60 in 20secs! Oh, and it weighed 13.5 tonnes! I've no intention of buying one. Not on my wages anyway!
Currently in the coach man's garage:
Bloody big coach (460 BHP and under 8mpg) & Laguna I phase II 2.0 RXE (dimised) and a Ford Mondeo Ghia-X 2.5 V6 '99.

Great post, people think thier cars are advanced but that's a different world! You had me fooled for most of the post till you got to the gears, I drove HGVs for a time with 16 gears, not tiptronic though.
Currently in davesss's garage:
2002 Laguna Sports Tourer 1.8 Dynamique Moondust VF1KGOB, Fiat Siecento Micheal Schumaker, Kawasaki KLE M/Cycle and a cheap Mountain Bike.

A freind of mine drives an 05 Renault tractor, more gizmos to play with than the average Toys "R" Us store. I'm trying to persuade him to join the forum. I'd just love to read his first problematic post.

Fab - I'd love to drive a coach. I love the look of some of these new trucks as well, and as usual Renault seem to be coming out with all the interesting looking stuff
