Just seems that there are too many idiots who don't have a clue how to drive in bad weather.
How hard can it be, leave big gaps, don't accelerate, brake or turn to quick, gear 2 to pull away, all basic stuff really, like checking the washer levels and lights etc

I've first hand experience that some people never learn from these situations.

My sister used to own a Citroen Deathtrap (Saxo) - I never got in it with her, having seen the way she drove it (50 in a 30 days after she'd passed - I was following her to the petrol station, and lost sight of her.) One day in the pouring rain, she bushed it - came home, broke down about how scared she was.

She's just got a 206CC - I got in it soon after she got it for a lift home - parents were in the car - she was lecturing me on how to drive properly. Dropped parents off, I needed a lift back where I came from as I'd forgotten some stuff - scariest ride ever...

Needless to say, some never learn from their mistakes...
