Very carefully check the service history ( not just the stamps in the service book ) for all the paperwork. Check that the cam belt was replaced at 72k and also again at 144k - if not leave it and buy a lower mileage example - 4k is a lot of money to pay for a vehicle with such high miles - only my opinion mind you !!

L2O's right.

Mileage isn't as big an issue as it used to be as long as it's been properly serviced and maintained(cambelt included).View the vehicle before bidding, and it may be worth having a history check done to make sure it's not hiding a dubious past.

Have a look at other Espaces for the same sort of money and see if this one is the bargain it pretends to be.A quick look on the Autotrader website will enable you to compare it with others.

Good luck, and let us know how you get on.Any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....

In slightly less sensible terms, your choice of MPV is IMHO the best. I don't think anything holds a candle to it...
