Definitly got a good bargain. Phase 1 Laguna's are one of the best cars I've ever had. Quick, good handling and comfy too. You done well!

My S reg 2.0 RXE with 120K miles sold for a little over 2K four years ago, so taking into account the age and the slightly lower mileage, this sounds like a fairly sensible price.

You'll never get a definitive answer to what your car is worth (like just about anything else, it's worth whatever someone will give you for it at the time) but Parkers' text service might just set your mind at rest (or otherwise) and only costs a few pennies on your mobile bill.

I paid £500 for my 99S Lag Dti (125k).

It was a non-runner though.Didn't cost a penny to get it to run,one of the perks of being a mechanic!

I am very happy with it,but we need an estate ideally.I'm currently looking for a Lag 1 estate of around the same age,but the estates are definately worth more.I might even go back to a petrol as their a bit cheaper.

I'd have to change my name then!.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
