Problems /Faults

EGR Valve
Turbo Failure(if not serviced regularly with a good synthetic oil )
Injection Faults
Clutch Master/Slave Cylinders
Speedo Faults
Strut Tops
Broken Coil Springs
The list goes on

Great looking
Great Drive
Doubles as a car and van(once rear seats removed)

Do A Google and this forum search for
2.2dci EGR Valve
2.2dci Turbo Failure
2.2dci Injection Fault
2.2dci Limp Mode

If you get a good one it will be a pleasure but make sure it has a good service history. Oil and filter changes every 9k not 18k.Cambelt Waterpump and tensioners have been done recently.Preferably the clutch has been done and hopefully the injectors have been done and you should be laughing

I wear the trousers in our house

She just tells me what colour :D

Hi as Zinx says do a forums search, from the description its a "New Generation Espace" the Espace3 phase3 or Mk3 Ph3 to you and me. Not all the problems carry over between versions, and dont get the dCi and dTi engines mixed up, a lot of nonsence is spoken and written and the engine technologies often get mixed up, so pay attention and you wont go wrong.

You will learn to love and hate the Espace, usually withing the same 10 minute period, but you get used to them and their little foibles .... but what ever you do check it out properly, and dont buy if there is ANY hint of electrical gremlins .... you will end up selling your house to get them fixed. Get a good one and it will be good, but there are plenty of dodgey/botched and ex-starships out there that you should avoid, just use your head and dont let the shiney paint and toys cloud your judgement and you'll be OK.

I've had three so I should have learned by now.

Hope it helps

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
