Clio 182 Cup - Your Opinions please people :)

Hi all,
I currently own a '04 1.2 Dynamique, but unfortunately it has been far from happy motoring within one month of owning the car it needed a new ecu wiring loom - both parts - costing 1100, has had the sticky bonnet catch syndrome, and now taps like a 100,000 mile motor even though its only on 45k - not to mention the shocking build quality with all of its rattles!! I am sure I have been unlucky with this one, but am now looking at a 182 Cup as you can't get any faster for the money and because of the rave reviews it has had -- so I would like any opinions from people that have owned one/own one/known anyone that owns one!
I basically would like to know of any common problems with the 182 and whether on a whole it is a troublesome car or generally not too bad
Thanks for your replies everyone

There have been numerous reports of their engines failing big-time and are so costly to fix the car effectively becomes a write-off

Renault have been reluctant to repair some that are even under waranty.

You may be lucky but repairs and such don't come cheap
