What it might be best to do (just this once) would be to buy the parts from the Renault dealer, and keep an note of all the relevant part numbers. I would even be inclined to store the old oil & air filters for a visual reference.

That way, you are less likely to be caught out, and you can compare like for like in future at motor factors.

It shouldn't be much more money, and you'll avoid any hassles.

Just a thought.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

Before starting the service work you could also drive the car to the shop and take the parts out to the car and compare them before buying It may also be worth contacting a Renault dealer store and requesting the part numbers - that way you would have numbers for cross reference.

If its a dti it will be a f8q not f9q as this is only dci engine code but share oil filter with most renaults with screw on filter motaquip number is vfl 344 as for fuel and air depends which type it has dioes it have sealed fuel filter or does it have small element inside housing? Air filter could be small or larger type. Most manufacturers like euro will tell you which bits you need and if only a small choise i.e 2 types buy them all and return what you dont want and keep boixes for future reference.
