Thumbs up Great Independant garage

Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to recommend a brilliant place to get your Renault serviced or repaired, but here goes:

Carlton Garage...In Exmouth (East devon)
29 Rolle Rd
tel;01395 223320

I have been using this independant Renault specialist to maintain my car for about 6months now.
Kevin, their customer service and quality control man is a diamond.....honest and trustworthy, good old fashioned personal service...second to none!
My V6 Laguna 2 was recovered by them when the coilpacks gave up this week....the mechanics who came to collect it (on a car trailer) were both wearing spotlessly clean coveralls....and their knowledge of the car was looked as if they had come to collect a Rolls not a 7yr old Renault!!
The faults were diagnosed and the parts renewed (using cheaper genuine Peugeot ones) with the minimum of fuss and without profit on the parts.
The core of people there are all ex-Renault employees and are passionate about them.
(The owner even hill climbs an early R5 turbo 1.)
The Renault Clio v6 club owners (travel here) also to use these guys to do (engine-out) cambelt changes.
I have had the rear bushes done, steering arms and various other items taken care of by these guys, and cannot sing their praises enough!
So if you're planning on driving down to devon on your hols it's worth putting their name in your never know!!

p.s. I don't work for them just in case any cynics are
Currently in mrcachamb's garage:
V6 24v Laguna 2 Initiale sports-tourer, Land Rover Defender 200tdi expedition spec (rechassied)

Hi Chris,

I think there is a section for this but can't remember which it is but I'm sure a mod will sort that out for you.

Good to hear of quality service.
