it probably will be a classic in the future as a piece of design and due to its rarity.

i think for a car to be a classic it needs to be rare, at least 15 years old, and one or more of the following;

good looking
high performance
or a commercial failure

but as for now being a 52 reg car, i dont think it qualifies yet...

maby in annother 10 years or so

There were a couple of Avantimes at a motor pageant I went to recently (along with a Twingo and some sporty Clios of the same kind of age) and I was glad to see them. I like the sight of them and I don't see many even on visits to France.

Mostly the cars were older, and included a Dauphine and Caravelle.

I was intrigued by the distinctive way owners of Citroen 2CVs treated their cars. While owners of most makes and models - Morris Minors as well as Aston Martins - seemed not to want even a smear or speck of dust on their cars, 2CV owners had slapped stickers (of places visited) all over theirs.

Spending hours surrouded by likeable designs at the show had a noticeable effect on me - once I stepped out of it, some of the cars going past on the roads were a real affront to the eyes, while others seemed to be classics in waiting.

Mmmmh thats a tricky one for me,well in years to come i would say yes for sure but at the minute iam not sure???

The way i look at "Classic Cars" just because there old or a certain age they are no way all Classic's,for me it takes a very special car? and they must have that all important pedigree........ Italian

Definitely an Italian influence in the electrics...

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
