Growling Scenic

Hi Folks. Has anyone else noticed on their Scenic II with the keyless entry system fitted, that it growls (groans?) for a second as you walk up to the car?

I dont mean if you put your hand into the door handle and it detects and unlocks the car....I mean you walk up to it, maybe walking infront of it to get to the drivers door, and the car give a little growl as if its detected the keyfob in your pocket, etc.

Its presumably priming something, but what is it?

PS I aint hearing things...yet

Ihaven't experienced this myself with my Scenic. However, re your suggestion, I have heard that on some cars, once you open the driver's door it primes the fuel pump (diesel). Thats why they say that if you fill your diesel with petrol by mistake, don't even open the driver's door or you could cause severe engine problems!
