Is the cat covered by warranty

My 04 Scenic had a coil replaced under warranty some 5 weeks ago a heavy rattle has appeared from inside the exhaust if it is the cat is this covered by warranty?
How long does it take for the cat to sustain damage if the engine is run on three cylinders

The Cat will fail very very quickly if you have had a misfire as it will be dumping unburnt fuel into the monolyth. This then ignites melting the Catalyst....

It will be covered under warranty and classed as "Consiquential damage" from the misfire..
