Halford, Wouldn't touch 'em

Many moons ago, I had a 2.4 Granada which failed its MOT because of rear void bush failure. Quoted me 400 to replace. Friend with pit in garage and knowledge couldn't beleive it!
Total cost for parts was 20, friend forced to accept 20 for job. When tackled about it, they said the price was in case there were any snags. Mate said b---x.

I go 'dahhhn 'alfords' quite a lot, but only to get Autoglym car washing products, which I already know about. I would imagine that asking any advice would garner the same response as in any British store with undertrained, underpaid young assistants.
Currently in mrtotty's garage:

I'm a fan of Halfords to be honest. They are convenient, sell everything you want for the car and little'uns bikes, and when one of your wiperblades splits in the pouring rain you can pay them a quid to fit a new one rather than get wet.

Like anything you have to shop around on prices but I 'use' them.
