Third time lucky!

I quite agree with benny that its who you get on the day. Yours sounds like a jobs-worth! If mine had been working to the book on my test day, i would have failed as I made a major ****-up on my test. But he said he'd have done exactly the same as me - so it is more about their personality sometimes

Oh and a short skirt helps

Thumbs up

I must admit to getting a good fair tester on my first driving test many years ago............As I was driving along he just said to me "good job there's no police about" I did not know what he meant, then he told me I was doing 31 mph, I passed though.

On a more serious note I must also admit that whilst I was in the RM I was a driving examiner on all vehicles, All HGV, Vehicles steered by tracks, ie tanks and also motorcycles, to do this involves an intense 2 week course with the Ministry of Transport.

Although the course for ordinary cars is not as involved examiners can tell within minutes of starting the test if they feel safe with the driver and this can influence thier descisions on whether to pass or fail. Luck has very little to do with the outcome!

But, better luck next time
