Question Laguna II - rusty pencil coils and plugs

Had the AA out at weekend as car (1800 engine) wouldnt start. Turned out to be flywheel sensor needing cleaning. But in the investigation, the AA guy removed two pencil coils and plugs, both had brown rust stains (on coil bodies and plug bodies) indicating rain water getting in or could have have been due to powerwash of engine by dealer when first purchased three months old. Never had problems with it til this weekend (three years old). There was no damp/water on plugs/ coils just stains.

Has anybody else seen this when changing plugs or removing coils ?? .

Dealer sais they see this quite often (they say could be condensation) and not to worry !! But doesnt seem to be healthy to have water around the electrics. Would expect mis-fires but never had problem.
