The old expression "come into my parlour said the spider to the fly" springs to mind.

Just hope you get it sorted soon.

I got my Laggy2 back yesterday
its been on a ultra! low cost - low priority schedule.
the steering column problem has been fixed (badley adjusted lower column universal joint mis-aligned).
NS caliper, Master cylinder, Servo, Tyre Pressure Sensor, rear washer pipework valve have been replaced and it passed an MOT. ).
all in under 220
only downer was its been there since late January
but then it was dropped off with totally failed brakes, imobiliser and impending MOT due.

theres a few niggles to yet sort out next week, but overall im happy with the work and very happy with the rate.

(box of beer on the way to the mechanics in appreciation, always helps to keep them well oiled)

Spare parts available for 2001 Scenic 1.9Dci, 97 Lag1, 02 Lag2.
everythings gotta go....
cheap prices...

Re: How long does it take to run Diagnostics ... ?

That was a good result Mord, you were very patient waiting all that time!!!

I had a phone call from the garage this morning hooray - it was the immobiliser. They also told me that my brake fluid was empty.

I had it serviced in January with another garage surely they would have checked that as it is extremely dangerous.

Or maybe there is a leak in the pipe thingy anyway they are going to check for me.

Cost for immoboliser check 76 and for transportation (apparently a Renault dealer) 65 which i think is to cheap for Renault.

Maybe they took it somewhere else to be fixed - anyway at least it's not completley useless which is what I thought in the first place.

mmmmh mustn't count my chickens just yet they are going to call me later.

He said he can't wait to get rid of it!! Charming~!!!!
