Question Vibrations -engine and stearing

Hi Guys ,

I had new cambelt as the old one cracked and was fitted in emergency by a local garage dropped by AA ,I have noticed now that the car vibrates when i am stoped on a red light with neutral but as soon as i **** to 1st the vibrations dies down ,then when it reaches 40+ the stearing vibrates slightly ,got it checked for wheel allignment but they say its ok ,opened the bonut and i could see that the engine was shaking more than i have noticed before ,could it be due to cambelt not tightned properly ,also noticed a noice from the engine bottom .

Laguna -03 ide 2.0 72000K .

thanks .

The steering wobble is likely to be a wheel out of balance or a tyre/wheel out of shape.

Wheel alignment won't rectify a wheel wobble....

Edit; The engine vibration could be down to a bottom pulley breaking up or not having been re-fitted properly.I'd get it looked at asap!

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
