Front Mudflap Clamps.

I'v asked Renault Main dealers with no help what so ever, so I thought I'd ask the forum group, I'v lost a small push on clamp on the top of the front mud flaps fitted from new, no room to drill hole and put speed clip and bolt due to little edge on wing. Main dealers said I would have to purchace new set of flap for a clip, this clip must cost all of 50p at the most, so where is renault customer help,
[[B]can any one help with a solution, or give me the name of the manufactures of the mudflaps to request a few new claps.
I thought about clue, but will it stick to paint work and stand up to the water etc

Have you tried a breakers yard? They may have a car in with mudflaps fitted.
I wouldn't try using glue, because it may react with paintwork/plastics. Probably wouldn't be flexible enough to take a knock or scrape.

You may be able to purchase a "spring clip" from a local hardware shop. They usually have all sorts of clips/brackets, they may have something that will do the job.
