As I understand it there are 2 sensors, 1 for pressure and 1 for flow.
The software GR Autos used showed an error which could have been either sensor. After discussions with Renault they opted for to chnage one sensor, which turned out to be the wrong one. However, they upgraded the diagnostic software which I am told can isolate which sensor is faulty.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the swift reply. I've decided to buy the fuel pressure regulator / sensor that sits on the end of the fuel injector rail , and try this first. Both sensors seem fairly simple to swap over, (I assume the flow sensor is the screw in unit that sits next to the cylindrical pressure regulator/ sensor). When I spoke with the local Renault parts supplier this sensor seemed the most common, so i've gone for this one first.
