Main Dealer Part Prices

Had to phone around today for prices for the dreaded rear sub-frame bushes that I have the pleasure of changing for MOT..Phoned local motor factor who quoted prices of £52+Vat each(in stock) or £35 +Vat each(out of stock).

So phoned my local Renault Dealer (Dales@Scorrier, Redruth) who quoted £54 inc Vat..bargain.

So always worth a quick call to your main dealer after the local motor factors to check prices.

Re: Main Dealer Part Prices

The dealers have to become competitive....getting prices online has become far to easy

A mate of mine owns his own garage, and said that he'd noticed the prices of Renault parts drop....he picked up a new turbo for a customers scenic for £250

Re: Main Dealer Part Prices

My local Renault dealer charges £35 plus VAT for a pair of bushes. They don't advertise this figure but if you ask at the counter - no problem.

They will also try and match GSF clutch kit prices. Having GSF a few hundred yards away helps them keep their prices keen where possible.

To quote the phrase "competition improves the breed" - its only too true.
