I've had a few Puntos as hire cars too, and like them almost as much as the Clio. They're almost on par with the Clio when it comes to design and comfort, but Fiat reliability is even more questionable than Renault.
The Audi A2 always struck me as pointless. A bit like the A-Class Merc. Besides, from a distance, the A2 always looks like the driver forgot to shut the boot.
I like the 206 until I drove one. Okay, but it didn't live up to my expectations. I'm not sure which engine was in it, but even thrashing it half to death didn't seem to make it want to go anywhere.
Air-con is still far from standard in the supermini class. All round, maybe you'd be better off replacing the 200 with a similar sized car.
