Laguna II Metallic Rattle??

I have a rattle that sounds like it is coming from under the car somewhere. It sounds like a heat shield hitting the exhaust, but I had my mechanic look and he couldn't see anything.

It seems to go when braking as well.

Anyone had the same?

Hi Aaron,

I had the same thing on a Megane I owned previously, It was the catalytic converter breaking up.

It sounded just like a rattly heat shield or something metal rattling as you describe.

I'm sure that your local Kwik Fit will put the car up on the ramp and say if this is the problem.
