Window gone? Doesnt go up!

Evening ALL
My passenger window has gone, well kind of, it doesnt go up, i can hear the motor tryign to go up but it doesnt
At the moment ive kept the window up by tape, to prevent it fallign down.
what has happened? Is it the regulator? Expensive to fix?
I dont think the window motor has gone, because it is trying to do its best, look like the window has come to one side, off its arm possibly
Any help and advice much appreicated.
Worth nothing, last year the drivers side window had a similar issue and the window regulator fixed this, but im not quite sure its the same issue,

Does sound like the regulator has gone but you'll need to remove the door liner to be certain. After-market regulators without the motor are available for arond 60 or so.
