Re: oil preasure switch

It's always best to shop around for spares, some parts are available genuine only, but many of them are available aftermarket at much cheaper prices than from Renault.

As with buying most things,a few phone calls and a bit of research can save a lot of money.

Re: Spare Parts Prices

I've had some real bad problems with "pattern" parts from ************. Poor quality or crap fitment is quite normal i'm afraid.

Favourite non working parts from them are a set of Transit diesel injectors that were so badly remanufactured the paint covered the contacts and they wouldn't fire, and my personal fav was a diesel fuel pump for a Hyundai that pumped the wrong way round.

Re: Spare Parts Prices

Many moons ago I bought a coolant temp sensor from the same company. Yes it fitted but had the incorrect temperature range. Ended up buying an original. By the time I run around and sorted the problem it ended up costing me money.

Re: Spare Parts Prices

Same with me, my wifes Seicento concked out at home, the RAC gave exellent service by diagnosing the TDC Sensor and fitting one the next morning which was from them, the car started ok but did not last long and we had problems with it, when the fiat TDC was fitted everthing was OK.

A problem well stated is a problem half solved !
