How lond does the battery have to be disconnected?

Currently in Azz's garage:
2001 Renault Laguna II 1.9dCi Sports Tourer Privilege

I did it plenty of times and never had any problems!

Disconnect it for about 10 mins and it'll clear the ECU 's "user" settings and default back to the OEM map.

Then, re-connect and thrash the backside off of it on a nice long drive, and see how it responds

Oh, and it goes without saying that you should ALWAYS leave the door(s) open and the windows wound down when you do this, just in case!
