Re: Laguna II Life Expectancy

That's a car which has given good service thus far.

TBH what determines a car's life expectancy these days is a combination of parts availability once a model falls out of production coupled with the owner willing to spend money on preventative & remedial maintenance on an ever-depreciating asset.

What many fall into the trap of doing is adopting the mindset that a car of a certain value isn't worth spending money on, rather than thinking of how much they would need to spend to replace their existing car with a fresher model.

Better the devil you know has never been more apt.

Keep up the good work.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

Am a sucker for punishment as have just replaced it with a newer model. 07 Lag II Navigation and am already experiencing first issues with SAT NAV and doors full of water!!!!!! LOL

Re: Laguna II Life Expectancy

What a shame you didn't make it to 200,000 miles.
I once rode in a Ford Fairlane taxi in Sydney that had 650,000km on the clock. The driver said its 4.0 litre six was still going strong, as was the automatic.
