Thumbs up Renault Onwers in dundee area

Can i ask for any renault owners who live in the dundee area to get in touch. I want to see where you take your car to for servicing and for repairs. I'm thinking of setting up as an idependent renault specalist in this area. and wonder what service / requirements you need. I presently work at a main dealer and dont see many 3 year plus vehicles or even service work for the newer vehicles. this work is going somewhere and is there enough technical knowledge outside of the main dealer. Many thanks Simon...

Hi there Simon, I am originally from Dundee, and still visit family there. I can only speak for myself, but what I look for from a garage is good service, coupled with informed staff, good value for money, and honesty. I am self-employed, and therefore a great believer in supporting local businesses. If you can offer that combination, then you can count me as a client. I think that since the rules regarding warranties & service requirements have been deregulated, many owners are choosing to vote with their feet - those with older cars were never tied-in like that anyway, and feel that their car's value doesn't justify the high labour rates. Where are you planning to set up? Paul. (P.S. All the best with your venture)

Hi Simon,
I live in Blairgowrie.
I have a '02 plate Laguna 1.8 Sport Tourer with a key fob problem - it can't be locked from the outside. I am trying a few of the fixes from the forums.
Where are you set up to service/ repair Renaults?
