I'll pass this on to my mechanic friend and see what he says.
Maybe I have to get rid which is a great shame as I've always wanted an Espace since they first came on the market.
I'm pleased with this Espace all apart from the damn thing keep cutting out.
Been A Renault man since 1969 when I was hitching around Morocco and kept getting lifts in Renault 4's and Renault 16's.
Eventually bought a Renault 6 in 1970 and kept that 5 years.
In 1973 I drove this car overland through Europe to Greece, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistn and Pakistan before turning around and coming back home (through the Khyber Pass).
This car let me down once, in Turkey, when the drive shaft UJ sheared.
This was a known problem then with this drive shaft which was eventually re-designed by Renault.
Bought this Espace with the intention of travelling/touring around Europe now I'm a pensioner but it doesnt look as though I'll be using this car.
