Trafic Camper Back Doors Problem

I was worried I might be running out of problems, but I knew my van wouldn't let me down.

When I close the back doors, and lock them, I can pull them open a little bit. I obviously need to adjust something, but not entirely sure about where to start. Has anyone here had to do these adjustments, and what should I attack first, and more importantly, what should I NOT do.

Re: Trafic Camper Back Doors Problem

Would guess the doors work by locating pins top and bottom when you turn lock so my presumption would be if you lock van on n/s door pins on o/s are not locating or if locking from o/s check nearside door my suspect would be handle mechanism not pushing pins out fully

It is easier to take it apart than to put it back together

What he said.

Look at what locks the doors top and bottom.
I'd suspect worn "bolt" holes in floor/ceiling or worn/bent bolts.

What not to do?
Take it apart before giving it a good coating of looking at.
Which I suspect you wouldn't anyway.

If it is top or bottom pilot holes elongated, should be enough room between door and fixing point, for a washer to be secured, either pop rivet, or.(me thinks) mrsbruce, your mig welder is coming out that will secure the washer

I remember the first time I saw a universal remote control, and I thought to myself.

"Well this changes everything

Getting worried now, how do you know I have a mig welder (well, the hubby has, but I know how to switch it on).

Are you that begger from up the road who keeps borrowing the hubby's extensive range of toys (sorry, tools), and more annoyingly, remembers to bring them all back.
