The Lag's not going to be as easy as the Vectra for the simple reason that the cruise buttons are on the steering wheel. You'll need a new wheel for starters, and of course that means mucking around with airbags.

The cruise equipped models also have a special accelerator pedal with a resistance point set at half way travel. This is for the limiter functionality rather than the cruise control, but it'll probably be needed to get cruise to work.

Unless you can get the parts from a donor vehicle, I'd say an after-fit system is going to work out a lot cheaper. It won't have the limiter function, but if all you want is cruise then I wouldn't worry about it too much.
