If the rear rings are ok, I'd leave them.
As far as I know, the ABS uses the front left sensor information for the speedo signal.
Wonder if it's possible that if front and rear ring teeth count don't match, you might get a fault code for faults on the rear....dunno
I'd count teeth on all rings to be sure.
They changed the amount of teeth on the rings during 2002 I think.
Will be 26 or 44 teeth depending on year.
The fronts should be 26 teeth..I have a link to prove that if you wish..
but there is also a change over to 44 teeth on the year 2002..its all according how confident you feel on the years thing knowing full well your car was probably not even built in 2002 and was hanging around in some parking lot waiting for delivery to the Uk..
