Re: LPG conversion

The LED indicator lights on the LPG level are totally unreliable. Mine will show half full when full, full when it is almost empty and generally runs with only 1st green led showing. This is totally common, and well documented for aftermarket systems to have unreliable lpg level indicators. My way and I suggest same to you is, fill up with LPG until the pump stops, tank will then be as full as it will get, zero your trip meter on your speedo, and then when you next run out of LPG you will see how many miles you can do on a tank. Repeat this a few times to get an average, then in future you will roughly know how many miles you have before you actually run out and can top up. I notice myself that on my normal commuting I obtain more miles per litre on LPG than when I do shorter more frequent runs. My commute is 104 miles per day and I average 325 - 350 miles per 50L fill, at a current cost of just 25 (I am paying just 50p/l)
