I'm not sure where the warranty officially stands, but we're down for a free courtesy car when the Clio goes back in to get the
problem sorted properly (fingers very much crossed.)
It would appear that the deal on courtesy cars is the same as under the main warranty - i.e. you can have one free of charge, provided that you can give several weeks notice that your car is going to break down. Otherwise they're 'subject to availablility' and invariably there are none available.
The only times I've managed to get a courtesy car out of a Renault dealer have been when the job has overrun and mine hasn't been roadworthy when it's been due for collection. I have asked (politely) how I'm expected to get home, and they invariably manage to magic one up from somewhere.
