A rock hard pedal is a sign the servo isn't working right and won't let the master cylinder release it's pressure. Sounds like the pressure release valve in the servo is stuck. You could try opening a bleeder and see if it will release. One other possibilty is that the ABS system isn' permitting the fluid to return correctly. Driving the vehicle in this condition is likely to cause brake damage or total brake failure if the brake fluid boils as the result of overheating brakes.
