Sounds like the cables on the winder mechanism are furbarred and you will need to replace the mechanism - they are available as either a mechanism only or complete with motor. The mechanism is around 70 and the one with the motor is about 120 plus. NOTE - these are not Renault prices (they charge about 220)
To remove the door card first remove the window winding switch. Remove screws at he bottom of the door - the one hidden behind the door handle. Originally the panels are sealed with a fairly strong waterproof sealant which you will need to cut - a thin scraper (wallpaper scraper is ideal)inserted between the card and door will release it - there are also about 6 pop on clips. When released you can disconnect the speakers, etc.
