You could be right, but if the system thought the driver's door was unlocked, it would still operate the locks and then unlock again as if the door was open but it doesn't. The only time it does that if if the driver's door is actually open.

It doesn't have the door open display... I'm not planning on bypassing the immobilisor or anything, just add an alarm if that makes as it doesn't already have one.

The locks / key worked perfectly for over a year (was a bit problematic when we first got the car) and its back to being like that again.

Got it working for a little while by taking the control box out, and spraying wd40 on it, but only lasted a few hours!
