Lightbulb Immobiliser Code Retrieval

I've got the same problem as many people have got/had, in that I can't turn off the immobiliser/alarm with my plip key. Tried another IR receiver and tested that the key is sending a signal, so it seems to be a resync problem.

I was going to go down to my nearest Renault dealer today to see if they'd give me the bypass code, but didn't have time.

After doing a bit of searching I may have found some software that could possibly aid in getting the code.

Test for Renault Key/Immobiliser failures (emergency recode)

If any one can try this, as I can't because I haven't got the code inside my key which is rather annoying.

Hope this helps.
