Got to agree.
In essence (the Ford warranty - which I can't see being different), wouldn't cover the 'new' items, any damage caused by fitting/use, and any failure arising as a direct consequence of the modified parts failure.
You might also have a bit of difficulty in servicing the car at a Renault dealer, as (especially mechanical & electrical)parts may be outside their experience.
Remember though, that so long as the servicing garage is VAT registered and that the correct service parts/schedule is adhered to, then your warranty (as far as possible), should be fine.
