I took my clio sport to Renault, thinking they would diagnose and fix my noisy engine quickly as they are the specialists. How wrong can you be!!! They told me I needed a new alternator, 380 for a refurbished one. Then they called and said I would need a new one for 600. I quickly paid 311 to get my car back and took it to another garage, who tested my alternator and it was fine. Complained to the Renault manager who said they would diagnose the problem again for free. They said my clio had 1000 worth of problems!! How did they manage to miss them before? They offered to fix my car minus the 311 I paid before, I told them to shove it up where the sun don't shine. All they did was list every fault that my car could have, because they don't have a clue what they are doing, and forget trying to get your monay back or getting an apology!! Moral of the story- NEVER TAKE IT TO RENAULT.
