Re: Washing my brand new clio

It is not recommended to use a pressure washer as it forces water into places water was never intended to enter. Plus the water pressure on most washers is far too high - look what it can do to concrete.

Soak the car well with a mains pressure hose - leave to sit for a few minutes to allow crud to soften - then wash with a soft hand car wash brush (natural bristles if you can afford such) - don't forget to rinse the brush frequently. Any dirt trapped in a brush will rinse out more easily than any sponge. When finished dry off with a genuine chamois leather regularly risnsing in clean water for best results.
