Nothing ever " just happens " thanks for adding the story though..
Interested to read someone else had one go whilst the vehicle was parked up..
Seems to me the rear opening window may be subject to an unusal amount of shock loading ( i.e. each time you open and slam the thing down to ensure it's locked properly - each time the heated rear screen is used )..
Maybe ( just maybe ) the use of only two small main supports and two gas struts lower supports with a very small surface area for the glass in also a non safe pratice..
Would be interested to learn how other manufacturers have designed a rear opening screen ??
Selly how's your hearse look when it comes to the rear opening screen ?
