As Andy quite rightly says,the connector should just pull off the bulb,but they can be tight sometimes.This is especially a problem when the bulb is awkward to get to anyway!.If at all possible,you need to try and lever the connector off the bulb as if you try and pull the connector off you can pull the clip off and it's a right nightmare to get it back in.
Try and grip the connector and pull it side to side or up and down and gradually prise it off.If that doesn't work,try to lever the connector off against the bulb with a small screwdriver.This is isn't always possible due to the space around the bulb and the positioning of the headlight.
.If you still can't get the connector off,you may need to remove the headlight and attack it from there.
