Yeh Antz - lowering makes it look a bit better - front is easy but the rear torsion suspension lowering is a nightmare and the roadholding becomes scarey and in my opinion outright dangerous - also remember your insurers may refuse to pay out in the event of an accident or claim. (unfortunately all us honest motorists end up paying higher premiums as a result). By law you are obliged to inform them of any changes or modifications you make to the car. I'm sure they'll not worry about clear repeaters or paint on the calipers but anything that will affect the performance or rosdholding or make it more than market value may concern them - apparently they are getting quite fussy about mods to suspension, etc - as many people are trying to modify cars without realising all of the implications.
